    Hotel Dampaphu, named after a revered hermit Brahmin from Andhra Pradesh who meditated here in the 11th century, is a sacred site known as Dampaphu. Associated with the lineage of Pha Dampa Sangay, the founder of Threma, the resort is currently overseen by Garab Rimpochey. Adjacent to the resort is the Garab Rimpochey monastery, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere.
